The sessions were absolutely lively and joyful, bringing not only the vibrant sounds of steel pan but also dance, movement, and a whole lot of learning. We’re so delighted that the young people had such a fantastic time engaging with carnival culture in such an energetic and creative way!

This week, our Thrive & Evolve group got into the carnival spirit with steel pan band workshops as part of our summer sessions with UKON Careers 🎉

From learning to play the keys to dancing the evening away, our members brought the energy, rhythm, and joy — all in celebration of the upcoming Barking & Dagenham Carnival! 🎭💃
