We’re well on our way to completing the incredible costumes for this year’s Barking and Dagenham Carnival on 12th July, and this week, it’s all about braiding and adding the tags to the costumes!

We had the absolute pleasure of being joined by two amazing professional carnival artists, Kathleene and Jennifer, from the renowned remounted band UCOM – United Colours of Mas. With their extensive experience in both performance and costume production, they brought expert knowledge, guidance, and infectious enthusiasm to our mentoring group.
