What an amazing day we had with the incredible young people from Flipside Youth Club, who absolutely smashed it at our Carnival T-Shirt Design Session! 💥

From vibrant colours to bold patterns, they poured their creativity into carnival-themed T-shirts, adding their own unique touches and expressing their brilliant personalities. 🌈🔥

For many, it was their first introduction to carnival culture, and we had a blast learning about Soca music and its rich origins. 🥁

We’re thrilled that Flipside Youth Club will be joining us at Barking and Dagenham Carnival for the very first time this year, and trust us, they’re coming in style! 🥳💃

🎭 They’ll have their very own stall where you can chat to them, see their fab creations up close, and they’ll even be part of the parade, showcasing their energy, pride and talent for the whole borough to see. A huge shoutout to Rohan Hyett and Grace Kihu for bringing this vibrant project to life with us; we couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌
