Last night at the Kings and Queens Semi Final Competition at the Savannah in Port of Spain was truly unforgettable

|

There was so much magic, energy, and inspiration that we will be sharing this experience in two parts.

This first post is dedicated to the incredible Moko Somõkõw family.

We had the absolute privilege of spending the day with them, being welcomed into their preparation, logistics, and planning for the evening. From the very first moment, we were made to feel genuinely warm, welcome, and part of the family. It is an honour we do not take lightly, and we are deeply grateful for the trust, kindness, and togetherness we experienced.

A huge congratulations to Shynel Brizan on making it through to the finals What a phenomenal achievement. The Moko Somokow Kings will also be performing at the finals, and we cannot wait to witness them on stage once again.

Shynel’s performance last night, featuring I Am Africa, Aja Laive, Aja Lorun Under the theme Children of Oya, it was nothing short of breathtaking. Powerful, mesmerising, and deeply moving, it captured the spirit, strength, and storytelling that define Moko Somoko.

Thank you for embracing us, we truly feel part of the Moko Somoko family, and our hearts are full.
