Today, UKON had the absolute pleasure of delivering our first steel pan session of the year for our wonderful senior citizens, in partnership with the amazing @steelpantrust!

The joy on everyone’s faces was truly heart-warming, and the positive feedback about how much they enjoyed the session has been so inspiring.

This is just the beginning, our senior participants will be working with us in rehearsals leading up to a very special performance at the Barking and Dagenham Carnival on 12th July 2025 in Barking Town Square. We cannot wait to see them showcase their talents!

We are honoured to collaborate with you on such a meaningful project, which supports our seniors by bringing them closer to the community, promoting physical and mental wellbeing, and celebrating the incredible heritage of the steel pan.
