We Mas presents a powerful portrayal of the Black Indian Mas and Ole Mas traditions, reimagined through the characters of the King, Warrior, Medicine Man, and Black Woman.
Blending African and Indigenous heritage with a bold contemporary twist, each character carries miniature white foldable chairs, symbolising resistance, dignity, and justice, a powerful nod to the Alabama Brawl and the global fight for equality.
This is not just a costume. It’s legacy. It’s survival. It’s a message.
