We had an absolutely brilliant time at this week’s Carnival Costume Mentoring Programme! The designs are well on their way, creativity is flowing, and the energy is through the roof! 🙌

It’s heart-warming to see everyone supporting each other, with our more experienced participants mentoring those who are just getting started. This spirit of collaboration is what makes this journey so special! 💫

A special shoutout to the youngest creatives in our playgroup who were especially imaginative and enthusiastic, they’ve even named themselves The Fun Club! 🎉 The Fun Club Kids were simply AWESOME, bursting with creativity and confidence as they expressed themselves through colour, costume and play. 🖍️👑

We’re watching confidence and resilience blossom across the board, and the excitement for the Barking and Dagenham Carnival is absolutely electric! ⚡🎉

To top it all off, we had a very special visit from Joseph Namy and his team from Becontree Broadcasting, who came along to capture the magic for his podcast. 🎙️🎧 They interviewed members of the group and got a real feel for the passion behind the programme and how it’s making a difference in their lives.
