What an incredible two days at @abphabyc for our Cultural Halloween Project – a global celebration exploring festivities from around the world including Halloween, Diwali, Día de los Muertos, All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day!
The energy was unmatched as the steel pan took centre stage – filling the room with rhythm, movement and culture! Huge love to all the amazing young people who brought their creativity, curiosity and pure vibes to every moment. You were phenomenal!
Delivered in collaboration with @steelpantrust , the sessions explored the resilience, creativity and cultural power of the steel pan – a recycled instrument born from innovation and community spirit in the Caribbean.
Beyond the music, young people also developed employability skills, learned about cultural traditions, and celebrated what makes our world beautifully diverse.
Massive thanks to the brilliant AB Phab staff for welcoming us and supporting such meaningful, joyful learning experiences.
Special shoutout to our incredible panists: Mason Goode & Kashan Shorter – pure talent!
