Tue 27 Feb 2024On January 28th UKON and @we_mas had the amazing opportunity to attend Vulgar Fraction Mas Band Launch 2024, designed by Robert Young.
The theme this year is ‘Isabay Bear With-Ness’. A theme which addresses the issue of violence and its impact on us individually, nationally, and internationally with a specific focus on addressing issues of violence internationally and on those who do not share the same culture as us.
This was an outstanding launch which culminated with Egbo Omo Oni Isese drumming and a Traditional Mas parade which included the amazing Daddy Jumbie with his Moko Jumbie presence as well as Black Indian Mas and many more.
