UKON had the pleasure of attending the “Panyard Crawl” event on Saturday 21st of January where the bands were judged as part of the Steel Pan Competition Carnival Season.

We had the opportunity to visit many bands such as Desperados, Renegades Invaders and many more.

Dignitaries, Ministers, and Steel Pan Judges visited the pan yards followed by the crowd who were very excited to listen to each steel pan band while the judges were also present and judging performances.

We had the unique opportunity to engage with the very talented steel pan musicians, experience the band’s rehearsals and get a taste of what we will expect to hear at the final Panorama competitions.

This was an extremely historical and culturally significant event which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
