We are delighted to have attended the Amphitheatre in Port of Spain, Trinidad, for the Traditional Mas Competition, in St James.

Some of the performers included Russel Grant and Joel Lewis delivering their Moko Jumbie performances. The Moko Jumbies use dance, movement, and music to tell their story and deliver their message whose origin is African.

Keomi Serrette as the Pierrot Grenade, the Pierrot Grenade Carnival Character uses storytelling to spell words bringing humour to their performances and whose origins are a combination of French and African.
